
Our Department currently consists of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Director of Clinical Services), Senior Clinical Psychologist Nurse Therapist, an Associate Psychologist and Assistant Psychologists.
Psychologists offer a range of interventions both with individuals (1:1 or group therapy) and staff teams.
Psychologists can help people understand and manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
As a Department we have expertise in working with people across the lifespan, with mental health problems and learning disabilities (including ASD) and offer treatment in the following areas:
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Sex offending
- Anger/anxiety
- Emotional problems
- Distressed behaviours
- Bereavement
- Attachment problems
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Drug/alcohol problems
- Abuse/trauma
